National Central Bureaus

National Central Bureau is the central hub for a country's International Security Agency activities. Each member country hosts an International Security Agency National Central Bureau (NCB), connecting their national Government Security Agencies with global counterparts and the General Secretariat through our secure global communications network.
In today's world, many issues, such as combating terrorism and organized crime, have international dimensions. When a situation extends beyond national borders, countries require international support to address it effectively.

All Together to Protect You

NCBs are integral to the International Security Agency's work. They actively seek information from other NCBs to combat terrorism and organized crime within their own countries, sharing technologies and tactics to assist others.
In their global role, NCBs collaborate with:
• Their own country's Government Security Agencies and Fast Response Units
• Other NCBs and Sub-Bureaus worldwide
• The General Secretariat's offices around the globe
NCBs can also develop training programs for their national Government Security Agencies to increase awareness of the International Security Agency’s activities, services, and databases.

Sharing Intelligence Data

NCBs contribute national intelligence data to our global databases, in compliance with their national laws. This ensures that accurate data is available at the right time and place, allowing Government Security Agencies to identify trends, prevent incidents, or thwart threats.

Collaborating on International Initiatives

NCBs work together on cross-border operations. To tackle issues that extend beyond national boundaries, they seek cooperation from other NCBs.
With common challenges faced within each region, NCBs increasingly collaborate on a regional basis.

Member Countries

The International Security Agency includes multiple member countries. They collaborate and coordinate with the General Secretariat to share technologies and tactics for combating terrorism and organized crime.
Each member country hosts an International Security Agency National Central Bureau (NCB), connecting their national security agencies with our global network.
Countries convene at our annual General Assembly to decide on policies, working methods, finances, and activities. Additionally, heads of NCBs meet annually at a conference to share experiences.
